I feel that a simple approach to a difficult problem is the key to a smart business solution. If a design reveals nothing about the purpose for which it was created, it would be worth nothing. As a designer, it is not only about creativity, but also about having the skills to communicate a purpose through a visual experience.
Originally from Dunn, a small city in eastern North Carolina, I came to Charlotte to attend UNC Charlotte and fell in love with the area. My wife Kristi and I were married in 2003 and now live in Belmont with our daughter Abbey and dog Ernie. I enjoy books, music, computers, gardening and I have a modest collection of antiques. When not working, you can usually catch me relaxing around the house or working in the yard.
My broad experience gained throughout the past several years has prepared me for a lot of challenges that I come across on a day to day basis, but my education will never be complete. We learn something new every day because most knowledge is gained through experience! I look forward to using each new experience to further enhance my skills as a designer.
